Designer Barbara Daseke selected the Savoy sofa by Allan Knight & Associates as our Designer Trends selection.
“When I walk into the Allan Knight showroom, I may not be looking for one specific piece. I may have an idea of a look that I desire, but I know I will be led from one idea to the next until I find the perfect piece. I am always taken with dynamic shapes, so it’s no surprise that my favorite sofa is the Savoy. The surprisingly angular form paired with significant comfort sets it apart from what I may find elsewhere. I know that Allan had this drawing on his desk for a couple of years before he attempted it, and he admits it is complicated to produce. I love it because it is both inviting and provocative.”
