FUNCTION MEETS FORM

Impressions Flooring Collection floors the competition

Recent years have redoubled everyone’s focus on flooring. Where once hardwoods were considered out-of-trend to the extent that people were even covering them over with alternative materials (like ceramic or stone tile, linoleum or carpet), homeowners are once again turning to the look of hardwood planks as their preferred type of flooring.

To meet this demand, Impressions Flooring Collection offers 16 gorgeous series of solid and engineered, prefinished hardwood flooring. Each series features unique characteristics. Every color in the prefinished collection is chosen based on what is currently selling well in the industry, as well as what is predicted to become popular in the years to come. From classic and traditional to electic and exotic, the Impressions Flooring Collection presents beautiful flooring options that will look great in every home.

In order to offer homeowners a real wood floor look without the wood floor upkeep, Impressions Flooring has recently introduced a new sub-collection of luxury, waterproof vinyl flooring called The Summit Collection. Made from rigid core materials, this new line gives homeowners a flooring option that is more durable and easier to maintain than traditional hardwood floors.

Created to offer a look and feel that resembles true wood more closely than most other manufactured flooring products, The Summit Collection is also notably more durable and actually stands up to its claims of being not just water-resistant, but waterproof. As the owners of Elegant Flooring Factory Outlet, Andrea and Daniel Lennitle can attest that those claims are solid enough to stand on.

“Many of the big-box stores, like Home Depot and Lowe’s, claim a lot of their products are waterproof or water-resistant, but the Summit line is definitely waterproof, not just water-resistant. Our Impressions sales reps have actually tested the competing products offered by those stores by putting them in a bucket of water to see how water resistant they were, and in three days, they were garbage,” Andrea Lennitle notes. “In testing the products ourselves, we noticed that the Summit flooring was actually standing up to their claims that they’re a waterproof product for life. We’ve also never had any damage claims on the flooring, and I think that says a lot.”

It’s easily one of Impressions’ top-selling products in Lennitle’s estimation. “Our customers have had a great response to the Summit Collection. In fact, we carry several lines of flooring in our store, but because of the color variation and texture, most specifically, a lot of people tend to go directly to the displays of the Summit Collection. It’s a very good product, and it has the padding attached on the back, so it’s sort of an all-in-one type of product. You don’t have to buy anything in addition to the flooring itself before installation. That, combined with the colors, textures, durability and high quality, is extremely appealing to our customers,” she says.

Offered in three lines, each of which has a different color palette and finished texture, the Summit Collection’s Breckenridge, Stockbridge and Bainbridge series are taking the market by storm. Unlike other laminate products, this flooring is 100 percent waterproof from top to bottom, with no vulnerable internal structure that can possibly retain moisture. They’re also thicker, more substantial and offer ease of installation over almost any type of subfloor, even when the floors are uneven. Once installed, the Summit Collection ensures your floor’s longevity by featuring a fade-resistant vinyl surface with a wood grain embossing that is more resistant to the power of UV rays.

In a world where daily living takes a hard toll on the floors under our feet, the Summit Collection rigid core flooring is a major step in the right direction.
