Christopher Martin Gallery of Dallas and Aspen has created the perfect atmosphere to present the reverse-glass paintings and limited editions of Aspen-based American artist Christopher Martin. This year marks the 26th anniversary of Martin’s artistic career. To celebrate, the Dallas gallery has expanded its program to include 24 mid-career artists working in painting, photography and sculpture.
The Dallas gallery is presenting a group show and two new solo exhibitions: new reverse glass paintings by Martin and new works from the Rodeo series by Dallas-based Western photographer Steve Wrubel. The season group show in the new gallery wing features a select group of tabletop sculptures by Salvador Dalí; the exquisite abstract work of California-based painter Monica Perez; the colorfield paintings of Hamptons based painter Jeff Muhs; the acclaimed work of Dutch image maker Isabelle Van Zeijl; the acrylic constructions of Dallas artist Jean-Paul Khabbaz; the large-format paintings of Dallas based painter Tom Hoitsma; and the organic paintings of LA-based artist Melissa Herrington.
The expanded 9,000-squarefoot Dallas gallery is located at 1531–1533 Dragon St. in the Dallas Design District.
